A native of New Orleans, Oscar "Mac" Gwin IV attended Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 2000. He received his Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2004. During law school, he was the Managing Editor of the Louisiana Law Review and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Research and Writing I and II.  Mac joined Christovich & Kearney upon graduation from law school in 2004.  His areas of practice include: insurance defense litigation, property damage litigation, contract litigation, construction law, construction defect, construction surety, construction liens, Louisiana Private Works Act, Louisiana Public, Works Act, Louisiana New Home Warranty Act, Louisiana Condominium Act, errors and omissions defense, professional liability defense, redhibition, appeals, real property rights, tree law, and neighborhood and boundary disputes.
