Mary Beth Meyer joined Christovich & Kearney in 1998, where she practices civil litigation. Ms. Meyer has represented clients in a variety of areas, including defense of professional malpractice and disciplinary violations, civil rights, products liability, railroad, casualty, environmental, insurance, maritime, commercial and contract litigation. Ms. Meyer is a graduate of the University of Missouri and received her Juris Doctor degree in 1987, from the University of Alabama. After serving as law clerk for the Honorable William M. Acker, Jr., U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama, Ms. Meyer began practicing law in New Orleans in 1989.

Ms. Meyer has served as the firm’s liaison with the New Orleans Pro Bono Project and as a Board member and President of VIALink, a non-profit organization which provides suicide prevention counselling and operates the 2-1-1 call center providing crisis intervention and social service referral services to area residents in partnership with the United Way of Southeast Louisiana.
